Maistra Select Island Hotel Istra - Rovinj

Regarding service, it was great with a shuttle to the island. Got wake up service free of charge, not bad too.

Fully equipped venue, modern bar area, perfect location to the pier from where a boat takes you. Very hard working staff and extensive breakfast with variety of options.

Location of hotel was good and our room had a beautiful view over the sea and the swimming pool. Smallish but well equipped with balcony.

The dining experience. We didn't book half board thinking that we would try out the various restaurants on site. During our stay though only the main, self-service restaurant was open. This was not a good experience - could be likened to school dinners or a staff canteen!

i liked the location, the hotel was on a loonely island fool of nature and romantic sites. The food was also very good.

the main thing that bother me, was the fact that the hotel had four stars, and the mistakes they did was for a hotel that had four stars not common. the main lack was on their organization. And the fact they called this a spa island i dont think you can call this a spa island. It is a hotel with cca. 300 rooms the spa can only take about 10-15 people. They only have 4 "deckchairs" in the all spa. Its a good hotel but if you want to get a more quality spa you should go somewhere else.

Loved our stay at Hotel Istra!!! We had an amazing balcony with a sea view! The staff was very friendly & helpful! Hope to get back there some day. I have already recommended the Hotel Istra to several friends!

Wunderfull quiet surroundings, near by the town Rovinj for entertainment, but with the quietness of the island very relaxing. Boot connections very good. Beautiful terrace/bar with light meals with wonderfull sunset. Breakfast very much choice and good quality

I have been stayed at this hotel for four weeks this August!The location of the hotel is surprised ! It is on the island ! It is very beautiful place!The water of the sea is transparent and fresh !You can relax on the beach and also in the Spa which is very good! I like this hotel and this place!!

Everything outside the hotel itself is wonderful (but bring watershoes for the rocks as you enter the water). The hotel interior is ok but certainly not luxurious. The rooms are small. I would give good value for a couple but poor value for a family since you end up paying for two rooms. On the other hand all the hotels in the area seem to not have family rooms so I gave fair value. The worst part of the hotel is the buffet restaurant. If it is busy, the din is deafening. The staff spend all their time throwing around cutlery. I would recommend sitting across the way in the other room. You don't have much choice for breakfast but I would recommend eating supper at Lanterna or in Rovinj (make a reservation).

their rooms are always well-maintained and brand-new with iron, a view to the inner garden plus air-condition.

The hotel's serene atmosphere was complemented by beautiful pathways and accessible areas, allowing me to stroll around and enjoy the gorgeous views effortlessly. The inviting décor and comfy lounges were lovely places to relax and unwind.

More shaded seating around the pools would be nice.

Amazing location, very nice view, clean, big and cute swimming pool, whole staff speaks german and/or english, good breakfast, free and good transportation to Rovinj

Quite high price but you pay for the unique location, small rooms, you can hear all steps from the room above, small shower cabin, no w-lan while cable internet very expensive; but the biggest problem I would say is the noise made by personnel: in the restaurant with cutlery and dishes, on the terrace at 1 A.M. with ordering chairs/tables, at the swimming pool already ordering noisy the beds at 5 P.M., even if they only close at 7 P.M. This problem could be solved with a better management.

The hotel was relaxing and fairly clean, had lovely views of the sea. The location turned out to be stunning, near a beautiful promenade and the island at 0:30 and the various bars, particularly soft drinks and water. Also, it was great to be 5 mins walk from Maschin...

The diverse swimming options and the helpful staff made our stay enjoyable. We especially appreciated the free shuttle to Rovinj, which allowed us to explore the charming city conveniently.
